This warm exchange with Prince William stands in stark contrast to the snub Meghan Markle received when she attempted to lure Taylor onto her “Archetypes” podcast with a “personal letter.” The Telegraph reports that Meghan wrote a personal letter inviting Taylor to be part of the podcast, but Taylor declined through a representative.

“Archetypes,” which aired for a single season on Spotify, featured Meghan as the host for 12 episodes with a star-studded lineup, including Serena Williams, Paris Hilton, and Jameela Jamil. The show was eventually dropped from Spotify, leading to a row as it emerged that Meghan and Prince Harry were cut from the platform. A senior Spotify executive reportedly criticized the royal couple, calling them “f****** grifters.”
