Eradication of existing mold
To eliminate mold already present on windows , a simple solution of white vinegar works wonders!
How to proceed ?
Before starting, protect yourself with gloves to avoid skin irritation.
Spray the vinegar liberally on the stains.
Leave on for an hour.
Then clean with a brush and lukewarm water.
All you have to do is wipe and dry with a clean, dry cloth.
Special attention to wooden frames
Unlike UPVC frames, wooden frames, due to their porosity, are more susceptible to mold. Wood retains moisture and promotes mold growth. A preventative solution would be to paint or stain these wooden frames and ensure that their joints are clean and dry .
