Smell the garbage
It goes without saying, but it is of course necessary to empty the trash can in the bathroom every day. Otherwise, it quickly becomes full to the brim with various dirt: no wonder that the smells stay in the room.
Once it is emptied and well cleaned, it is now a good idea to perfume it: To do this, mix 2 cups of baking soda, 6 to 8 tablespoons of water and as many essential oils as you want. Pour it into the shape of silicone ice cubes and let it dry for 24 hours. The use of baking soda should not be neglected: this powerful cleaner has excellent disinfecting and deodorizing properties. In combination with the other ingredients, it effectively and quickly eliminates all bad smells.
Decorative air freshener
Here’s a good idea! Have you ever put potpourri in your bathroom or near the toilet? Great boost. Aside from the fact that they don’t last forever, their effectiveness is completely in vain if you don’t change them regularly. Here’s another alternative to try: take a small empty vase, sprinkle it with a portion of deodorizing beads, and place an artificial flower on top. It adds a nice decorative touch to the room and gives the entire environment a pleasant scent. Also, don’t forget to take a look every now and then to see if the scent is still as vibrant as before.
